Team-Share (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a platform to help teams share information and coordinate activities. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
1. Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
- Account Information: device ID, name, email address, password hashes, profile details.
- Content You Provide: posts, comments, files, images, event details, and other content uploaded or created.
- Usage and Device Data: logs, analytics, IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and other telemetry.
- Payment and Billing: when applicable, payment data (processed by our payment processors) and related billing information.
- Support and Communications: messages and correspondence you send to support.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process account registration and authentication
- Deliver features, notifications, and communications
- Detect and prevent security incidents, abuse, and fraud
- Improve and personalize the Service
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Google / YouTube Integration
If you choose to connect your YouTube channel, Team Share requests Google account access only for YouTube related features you enable, such as linking your channel and starting livestreams for games from within Team Share.
Google data is used only to provide these user authorized YouTube features. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information to:
- Service Providers: vendors performing services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, email, payment processing).
- Third Party Integrations: if you connect third party services, those services may receive authorized data.
- Legal Requests: to comply with laws, respond to legal process, or protect rights, property, or safety.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the Service, legal obligations, disputes, or enforcement. Data no longer needed will be deleted or de-identified.
Children’s Privacy
- The Service is not intended for children under 13.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under applicable age thresholds.
- For minors appearing in user generated content (photos or videos), we rely on users (parents, guardians, coaches) to obtain proper consent before sharing.
2. Terms of Service
2.1 User Obligations
- Only use the Service for lawful purposes
- Not post content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, abusive, or infringing on others’ rights
- Obtain all necessary consents before uploading or streaming content featuring other individuals, including minors
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
2.2 Video Streaming and User Content
- The Service may allow you to capture, upload, or stream video and audio content (“Video Content”), including content featuring minors.
- By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You have obtained all necessary permissions and consents from individuals appearing in Video Content, including parental or guardian consent for minors
- Video Content may be visible to other users or the public depending on your settings
- You grant Team-Share a non exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and transmit Video Content solely for operating and improving the Service
- Parents or guardians acknowledge that their children may appear in Video Content shared through the Service by you or other users.
2.3 Content Ownership and License
- You retain ownership of the content you create or upload.
- By uploading content, you grant Team-Share a license to store, display, transmit, and process it for the Service.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on others’ rights.
2.4 Account Suspension and Termination
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms, illegal activity, or harmful behavior.
- Content associated with terminated accounts may be deleted at our discretion.
2.5 Liability and Disclaimers
- The Service is provided “as is” without warranties.
- Team-Share is not responsible for user generated content, including Video Content featuring minors.
- You agree to indemnify Team-Share for any claims arising from your use of the Service.
3. Data Deletion Requests
To request deletion of your account or personal data, submit a request via our form at Request Data Removal. Certain information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including fraud prevention and financial obligations.
4. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is completely secure; exercise caution when sharing sensitive information.
5. International Transfers
We may transfer and store data outside your country. We use appropriate safeguards consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This document is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Users agree that state and federal courts in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the Service.
